Our examination is divided into two parts -- data collection and the doctor’s exam.
2: Doctor’s Exam - a phoropter examination determines your eyes refractive error and the health of your eyes, both inside and out, is carefully evaluated.
Toward the back of the eye, the retina and blood vessels are studied. Often, high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries, and diabetes can be detected by an internal eye examination. We also check for glaucoma, cataracts, and ambylopia, commonly known as “lazy eye”.
